Avisonic will release the world's first mass production solution for megapixel fisheye lens distortion compensation and video transmission at 2012 AutoTronics Taipei
The mega-pixel video transmission and lens distortion compensation with AVS7201 provides high image quality and complete drive safety. AVS7201 is the world's first "mega-pixel fisheye lens distortion compensation" ASIC instead of the huge, more expensive and higher power consumption DSP solution. Its features are as follows:
1. Supporting mega-pixel sensors up to 30 fps
2. Up to 190o FOV
3. Providing bird-view, picture-in-picture and split-window display of multiple image areas for driving recorder and cameras
4. Dynamic/statics parking-assist and multi-language OSD
5. Operation temperature is -40oC to 85oC
AVS7201's mega-pixel solution offers great opportunities for various automotive applications.
